Siemens is hiring for the role of Azure Security Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design, implement, and manage security measures to protect Azure resources and services.
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability testing, and risk analysis to identify potential threats.
• Configure and maintain Azure Security Center, Azure Defender, Azure Policy, and Azure Monitor to ensure optimal security posture.
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures for cloud environments.
• Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and other teams to integrate security best practices into the deployment and development processes.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions.
•  Stay updated with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and regulatory requirements impacting cloud security.
• Assist in the design and implementation of identity and access management, including Azure Active Directory and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
• Create and maintain security documentation, including incident reports, system configurations, and network diagrams.
• Provide training and guidance to internal teams on Azure security tools and protocols.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud security, preferably in Microsoft Azure environments.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Security Center, Azure Defender, Azure Sentinel, and other Azure security tools.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Active Directory, identity management, and role-based access control (RBAC).
• Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
• Experience with network security concepts, firewalls, VPNs, and encryption protocols.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation tasks.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and integration of security into CI/CD pipelines.
