Key Responsibilities

• Data Pipeline Development: Design and implement scalable ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, and PySpark to process large datasets efficiently.
• Data Storage Solutions: Develop and manage data storage solutions using Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure SQL Database, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Data Modeling: Create and maintain data models, including star and snowflake schemas, to support business intelligence and analytics requirements.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize data processing workflows for performance and scalability, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data pipelines, data models, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Azure Expertise: Hands-on experience with Azure services such as ADF, Azure Databricks, ADLS, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in writing complex queries, stored procedures, and functions.
• Big Data Technologies: Familiarity with big data processing frameworks like PySpark and experience in handling large-scale datasets.
• Data Modeling: Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and experience in designing data models for analytics and reporting.
• Version Control: Experience with version control systems like Git for code management.
• Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile development practices and tools.

Preferred Skills
