Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Azure Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic cloud operations team. As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. Your expertise in Azure services, cloud architecture, and automation will be instrumental in ensuring the availability, scalability, and security of our cloud-based applications and services.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain Azure-based cloud solutions, including virtual networks, virtual machines, storage accounts, and Azure Active Directory (AD) resources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into scalable and reliable Azure cloud architectures.
• Implement security best practices to safeguard Azure resources and data, including encryption, access controls, and network security groups.
• Monitor Azure environments for performance, availability, and cost optimization, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Work closely with developers to support application deployments and troubleshoot application-related issues in the Azure environment.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes using tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, PowerShell, or Azure CLI.
• Implement and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for Azure-based applications.
• Assist in migration projects, moving on-premises applications and services to the Azure cloud.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution to ensure business continuity.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure services, features, and industry trends, providing recommendations for optimizing our cloud infrastructure.
• Document cloud architecture, configurations, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and team collaboration.
• Collaborate with Azure support and Microsoft technical representatives to resolve complex technical issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer or a similar role, with a strong understanding of Microsoft Azure services and infrastructure.
• Microsoft Azure certifications, such as Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert, are highly desirable.
• Experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions with Azure services, including VMs, Azure AD, Azure Networking, and storage solutions.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other scripting languages.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
