Virtusa is hiring for the AWS Engineer:

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK (in TypeScript, Python, or Java).
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain scalable serverless and containerized applications on AWS.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and DevOps teams to build secure, cost-effective, and performant solutions.
• Implement security best practices while creating VPCs, IAM policies, and resource permissions.
• Continuously monitor and optimize cloud resource usage and costs.
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines using tools such as CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.
• Monitor AWS environments using tools like CloudWatch, X-Ray, and custom logging/alerting systems.
• Create reusable infrastructure modules and patterns for consistency and scalability.
• Efficiently troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.

Requirements:

• 1 to 2  years of hands-on experience with AWS CDK.
• Solid working knowledge of core AWS services, including:
• Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, CloudFormation, IAM, etc.
• Proficiency in at least one CDK-supported language:
• TypeScript, Python, or Java (preferred).
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD tools, and Git-based version control systems.
