Barclays is hiring for the role of Aws Cloud Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• To build and maintain infrastructure platforms and products that support applications and data systems, using hardware, software, networks, and cloud computing platforms as required with the aim of ensuring that the infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and secure. 
• Ensure the reliability, availability, and scalability of the systems, platforms, and technology through the application of software engineering techniques, automation, and best practices in incident response. 

Requirements:

• Architect and manage AWS infrastructure including:
• EC2, ALB/NLB, VPC, Route Tables, NAT, Security groups, Auto Scaling.
• Develop and maintain Cloud Formation templates for infrastructure provisioning.
• Manage AWS service catalog products and custom provisioning use cases.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and configuration management using Chef/Ansible.
• Build and manage Docker containers and orchestrate them using Kubernetes(EKS preferred).
• Solid understanding and hands on experience with CI/CD tools.
• Strong knowledge of Linux systems.
• Familiarity with SSL certificates, security protocols.
• AWS certifications such as AWS Solution architect or AWS DevOps Engineer.
• Experience with terraform or other IAC tool in addition to Cloud Formation.
• Familiarity with observability tools like Elasticsearch, Prometheus.
• Ability to write scripts in Python or similar language.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps culture.
