Key Responsibilities:
Digital Transformation & Customer Experience
- Lead initiatives to design and implement digital transformation strategies aimed at operational efficiency, superior customer experience, and market growth.
- Build seamless, intuitive digital customer journeys across loan origination and servicing.
- Drive adoption of customer-centric platforms (CRM, mobile apps, digital self-service).
Project Delivery & SDLC Management:
- Own and manage the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): BRD creation, techno- functional specifications, development, UAT, production deployment, and ongoing support.
- Translate business requirements into actionable deliverables for in-house IT teams and external vendors.
- Perform cost-benefit analysis and define prioritization frameworks aligned with business goals.
- Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of IT initiatives using structured project management practices.
Platform Configuration & Solutioning (Newgen IBPS & NEMF):
- Lead the configuration of modules across the loan origination lifecycle—lead capture, onboarding, credit assessment, approval, and disbursal—using Newgen IBPS and NEMF platforms.
- Configure workflows, forms, business rules, data templates, queues, access roles, and notifications using tools such as Newgen Process Modeler, Forms Designer, and Rule Engine.
- Architect scalable, reusable configurations, minimizing custom code wherever possible.
- Guide and advise implementation partners’ technical teams on optimal platform usage, customization approaches, and best practices.
- Perform technical validations for release configurations, integrations, and environment readiness.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management:
- Act as a trusted partner to business stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, progress tracking, and delivery satisfaction.
- Manage relationships with external IT partners and vendors to ensure timely and quality
Compliance, Governance & Reporting:
- Ensure applications comply with all regulatory guidelines, information security standards, and audit requirements.
- Drive IT governance across product development, enhancement, and release management.
- Provide regular and accurate management reporting on application health, project status, and resource utilization.
Desired Profile:
Experience:
- 5–8 years of experience in Banking, NBFC, Fintech, or IT product organizations with extensive ownership of digital application portfolios.
Domain Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of Loan Origination in the Indian retail lending segment.
- Hands-on experience with Loan Origination Systems (LOS) and digital servicing platforms.
- Exposure to collections, bookkeeping, and financial reporting systems.
Technology Proficiency:
- Solid understanding of RDBMS concepts and proficiency in SQL (DDL & DML).
- Familiarity with API-based integrations with external partners (KYC providers, Credit Bureaus, Account Aggregators, Messaging APIs, etc.).
- Working knowledge of CRM platforms, internet/mobile banking systems, and customer- facing digital applications.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Analytical and structured problem-solving approach; ability to balance business needs with technical depth.
- Proven leadership and project management experience in delivering complex technology programs.
Education:
- B.Tech / BE / MCA (or equivalent qualification) from a recognized institution.
