Cyient is hiring for the role of Automotive Test Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Develop comprehensive test cases for Automotive systems, especially Steering and Braking.
• Ensure test cases cover functional, performance, and reliability aspects.
• Use Vector tools like CANoe / CANalyzer for testing and analysis.
• Implement and optimize test configurations in Vector tools.
• Use CAPL programming to develop test scripts and automation tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate CAPL scripts into the testing framework.
• Develop and maintain scripts using Python or VB Excel for automation.
• Work with dSPACE HiL setups for simulation and testing.
• Execute tests on dSPACE HiL systems and troubleshoot issues.
• Handle ECU commissioning and ensure proper ECU integration.
• Maintain solid understanding of Automotive systems, especially Steering and Braking.
• Stay updated on latest Automotive technologies and industry trends.
• Analyze vehicle CAN logs to identify and troubleshoot issues.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on CAN log analysis.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and QA teams.
• Participate in design reviews and provide inputs on testability.
• Maintain documentation for test cases, plans, and analysis reports.
• Prepare clear reports on test results and identified issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 2–3 years of Automotive testing experience.
• Proficiency with Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer).
• Experience with CAPL programming.
• Experience with scripting (Python or VB Excel).
• Knowledge of dSPACE HiL setups.
• Experience in ECU commissioning.
• Strong Automotive domain knowledge (Steering & Braking).
• Experience analyzing vehicle CAN logs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
