Allianz is hiring for the role of Automation Networking Architect!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Strategic Architecture Design: Lead the conceptualization and architecture of scalable, efficient, and resilient infrastructure automation solutions.
• DevOps Practices Implementation: Champion the implementation of DevOps practices to enhance automation workflows, including CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration strategies.
• Infrastructure Automation Expertise: Develop intricate automation solutions for network, firewalls, and other IT infrastructure components, leveraging advanced API integrations following RESTful API arch and integration design.
• Technical Mentorship: Mentor and provide expert technical guidance to the development team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Container Management Leadership: Offer strategic guidance and establish best practices for container management, utilizing technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Comprehensive Documentation: Create and sustain detailed documentation for architecture, design, and implementation processes.
• Cross-Functional Systems Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and tools, including Elastic software stack and ServiceNow.
• ServiceNow Integration Strategy: Drive the strategic integration of configuration automation tools with ServiceNow, ensuring alignment with business processes and requirements.

Requirements:

• Extensive Experience: Proven experience as a Software Architect or equivalent role, with a strong focus on infrastructure automation.
• Technical Expertise: Deep expertise in Python and Ansible/Terraform for automation scripting.
• Linux and Container Proficiency: Extensive knowledge of Linux systems and container management (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  Infrastructure Automation Expertise: Demonstrated experience in automating network, firewalls, and other IT infrastructure components.
• API Integration Skills: Strong emphasis on API integrations for seamless automation.
  ServiceNow Familiarity: In-depth familiarity with IT service management platforms, especially ServiceNow.
• DevOps Practices: Solid understanding and experience in implementing DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with version mgmt. tools like Git.
  Problem-Solving Excellence: Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective Communication: Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
