ABB Group is hiring for the role of Automation Engineer - Education Network!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Develop and execute strategies to strengthen the B&R brand presence in educational institutions, fostering collaboration with colleges, universities, and technical training centers.
• Deliver impactful marketing and technical presentations, seminars, and workshops to educators and students, highlighting the benefits of the B&R Education Network and its advanced automation technologies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions, supporting student projects, organizing national-level automation challenges, and facilitating hands-on training using B&R hardware.
• Research potential opportunities with colleges and universities while maintaining data accuracy in CRM systems to expand the reach of the Education Network program.
• Stay updated with the latest B&R technologies and industry trends to bridge the gap between academic education and industrial requirements.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of Industrial Automation systems, including PLCs, motors, drives, motion control, and robotic systems.
• Proven ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships in competitive markets and multicultural settings.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
• Fluency in English and Hindi, both written and verbal; additional local language knowledge is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, along with comfort in computer-based tasks.
• Flexibility to travel up to 50%, with a self-driven and proactive approach to handling responsibilities
