Ericsson is hiring for the role of Automation Engineers!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Create and maintain an enhanced data ecosystem to develop better data-driven business insights.
• Analyse or extract usable data from valuable data sources.
• Use machine learning tools to select features, and build and optimize classifiers.
• Carry out preprocessing of structured and unstructured data.
• Propose solutions and strategies to take on business challenges.
• Collaborate with Business and IT teams.
• Improve data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems.
• Process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis.
• Do ad-hoc analysis and communicate results in a clear manner.

Requirements:

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field is preferred
• Proven Experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist
• Good scripting and programming skills in Python.
• Knowledge of statistical programming languages like R, and Python, and database query languages like SQL, Hive, and Pig is desirable.
• Good understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, etc.
• Experience with common data science toolkits, such as R, Weka, NumPy, MatLab, etc.
• Experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, and Cassandra.
• Hands-on experience with data science tools.
• Problem-solving proficiency, Analytical mind, and excellent business sense.
