Propel is hiring for the role of Automation Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation scripts for web and API testing using Playwright.
• Collaborate closely with developers, QA team members, and product owners to ensure high-quality product releases.
• Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and document defects effectively.
• Participate in sprint activities, including planning, reviews, and retrospectives, contributing to testing best practices.
• Maintain test documentation, including test plans, cases, and results.
• Integrate test scripts into CI/CD pipelines to enable seamless automation in the development workflow.
• Ensure test coverage, reliability, and efficiency while continuously identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Support manual testing activities as needed during critical releases.

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of overall experience in QA automation or related software testing roles.
• Strong foundational programming skills in TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for web and API automation.
• Basic understanding or limited hands-on experience with Azure – familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
