Light & Wonder is hiring for the role Automation Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Debug software products using systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products.
• Develop, modify, and execute software test plans, automated scripts, and programs for testing purposes.
• Analyze and write test standards and procedures.
• Maintain documentation of test results to assist in the debugging and modification of software.
• Analyze test results to verify existing functionality and recommend corrective actions as needed.
• Consult with development engineers to resolve problems.
• Provide feedback for preparing technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computational software.
• Ensure quality computer integration into scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing functions.
• Perform audits and tests of software products according to established test plans and procedures.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software testing life cycle (STLC), software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Experience in preparing Test Scenarios and writing clear, concise & comprehensive test cases
• Good Communication, attitude of learning, listening, accepting the challenge
• Execution of Test cases, reporting defects and Defect tracking
• Experience in black box, ad-hoc, smoke, sanity, Regression, Integration, system testing
• Reproducing issues reported from the field
• Setup and maintenance of test environments
• Provide updates to Content QA Manager on testing progress
• Participate in exploratory game play sessions, identify test scenarios, and write new test cases when required
• Ensure software releases conform to defined game standards and regulatory requirements
• Strong problem Solving, Analytical and interpersonal Skills
• Good knowledge of test management tools like JIRA, qTest
• ISTQB certified would be an advantage
