About this Job
Microsoft is hiring for the position of Automation Engineer
- Engage in front-line debug automation and automated recovery design for new Faults
- Define and architect Automated debug workflows for bug checks/Machine checks/CPU errors using Silicon vendor features and cloud orchestration tools
- Develop inband/out-of-band remediation scripts using power shell
- Maintain Site-reliability/availability SLA metrics for Cloud customers
- Identify patterns of failure and RCA through ML/AI prediction for components
- Address Key capacity issues for customers.
Requirements:
- Expertise in Automation scripting – Powershell, python, Anvil, Kusto, Batch programming
- Hands-on expertise using Cloud orchestration tools
- UEFI, BMC, Hardware interfaces (I2C, SPI)
- Exposure Server Platform validation automation frameworks will be an added advantage
- Familiar or have exposure to Kusto, PowerBI and ML/AIOPS will be an added advantage
