SAP is hiring for the role of Automation Developer!

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the entire development process, from designing and implementing user-friendly UIs to developing robust back-end functionalities and ensuring seamless integration with other SAP products.
• Play a crucial role in pioneering the integration of modern AI capabilities, actively shaping the infusion of Generative AI features from the beginning.
• Gain valuable insights into the inner workings of critical business processes while engaging directly with a large customer base.
• Break down complex software requirements into manageable daily tasks, including design, review, coding, testing, and test automation.
• Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code in accordance with standards and the most recent best practices.
• Be flexible and open to working with any software development technologies based on advances in technology.
• Work enthusiastically in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Take responsibility for both individual and team goals, providing clear directions and making needs and requirements clear to achieve performance expectations.

Requirements:

• At least 3 to 8 years of solid experience in ABAP OO language and debugging skills.
• Good knowledge of JavaScript or prior experience developing Fiori apps is an added advantage.
• Experience with Core Data Services (CDS), SQL, and OData Service.
• Knowledge of SAP solutions for logistics processes, particularly in Materials Management (MM) or Sales and Distribution (SD).
• Strong knowledge of databases, including database design and efficient query writing.
• Familiarity with design patterns, clean code practices, continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), code review, and test-driven development (TDD) is desired.
