Natwest Group is hiring for the role of Automation Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate :

• Building and maintaining trusted working partnerships across our bank and franchises to inform and gather intelligence on emerging and future risks and controls
• Supporting estimates after considering their design and build and testing their complexity, maintainability, and serviceability
• Designing high-volume, high-performance, and high-availability automation solutions that use proven frameworks and technologies
• Providing ongoing operational support, including upgrades, defect fixes, and any process change activities
• Developing solutions and helping with the interrogation and analysis of relevant management information that supports data insights on behalf of our stakeholders
• Analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining application codes in a variety of contexts
• Taking responsibility for project activities, including work estimations, planning, stakeholder management, and project quality

Requirements :

• Experience in test-driven development and the use of automated test frameworks, mocking and stubbing, and unit testing tools
• Knowledge of the key phases of the software delivery lifecycle and established software development methodologies
• A background of working in an environment where products must be delivered to specific timescales
• An understanding of how to translate product and business requirements into technical solutions
• The ability to understand, support, modify, and maintain systems and code developed by other engineering teams
