Responsibilities:

• Create detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and plans using AutoCAD software based on project requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to develop accurate design concepts and translate them into functional technical drawings.
• Ensure that all drawings adhere to industry-specific drafting standards, company guidelines, and applicable regulations.
• Update and modify existing drawings as necessary to reflect changes in design, scope, or requirements.
• Review and verify the accuracy of drawings, identifying and rectifying any errors or discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of design changes, project progress, and versions of drawings.
• Effectively communicate with project teams to understand design objectives, provide updates, and address any design-related issues.
• Work closely with other designers, engineers, and architects to integrate design components and ensure a cohesive project outcome.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AutoCAD features and capabilities, applying them to enhance efficiency and quality of design work.

Qualifications:

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD software, including 2D and 3D drafting, modeling, and rendering.
• Strong understanding of technical design principles, drafting standards, and industry-specific regulations.
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy in producing technical drawings.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to identify and resolve design issues and challenges.
• Effective time management skills to meet project deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with other design software and tools (e.g., Revit, SolidWorks) is a plus.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating your previous AutoCAD design work and skills.
