Role Overview:

The Audit Intern will support the audit team in performing internal and external audits for clients, helping ensure financial records are accurate and comply with regulations. This position offers valuable exposure to the audit process, financial analysis, and risk management practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting audits of financial statements and operational processes
• Help gather, analyze, and verify financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Assist in preparing audit documentation and working papers
• Help identify areas of risk, control weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement
• Conduct research on relevant financial regulations and industry standards
• Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and audit findings
• Attend client meetings and support senior auditors during audits
• Participate in testing and verifying internal controls and processes
• Provide general administrative support to the audit team

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong interest in auditing, accounting, and financial analysis
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS)
• Familiarity with accounting software or audit tools (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, ACL)
• Previous internship experience in accounting or auditing is a plus
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
