Acuity Knowledge Partners is hiring for the role of Associate - Trade Ops!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• This role demands candidates that can work across a range of tasks simultaneously and can work independently with minimal instruction. while hours may vary depending on the markets the organization operates within:
• Assist with processing of transactions and trades. Perform the necessary checks and validation.
• Handling trade, position and cash reconciliation and liaising with stakeholders to resolve breaks
• Help with corporate action notifications, elections and processing
• Maintaining and updating security database
• additional fund operations activities mutually agreed with Client 
• Work with executing brokers/PB to clear any breaks to avoid any trading issues 
• Demonstrate high attention to detail, should work in a dynamic environment whilst maintaining high quality standards, a natural aptitude to develop good internal working relationships and a flexible work ethic
• Responsible for Quality Checks and adhering to the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) / Turn Around Time (TAT)

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification, preferably in Business or Finance (BBA/Bcom/MBA/CFA)
• At least 1 to 4 years working experience in a securities firm, involving Client & intermediaries' interaction.
• Experience in Client facing function (Relationship management, business support).
• Energetic, results-focused, change agent, with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure, while maintaining close attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with a positive and pro-active - can do- attitude.
• Team player and people motivator.
• Interpersonal, collaborative, relationship building and influencing skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skill with strong attention to detail
• Strong track record of excellent results delivered to internal and external clients
• Able to work independently without the needs for close supervision and also collaboratively as part of cross-team efforts
