Associate Testing Engineer Job in Hyderabad at DAZN

DAZN is hiring for the role of Associate Testing Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Play a key role in software quality improvement for customer-facing websites.
• Identify test scenarios for website solutions produced by the team.
• Write test plans and perform functional, standards, and cross-browser compliance testing.
• Identify and document all system errors.
• Maintain a repository of system test plans.
• Ensure all work meets customer expectations and departmental quality standards.
• Maintain an active knowledge of software testing tools, standards, and processes.
• Develop a wide understanding of DAZN’s core website systems from a non-testing perspective.
• Test different browsers and operating systems to ensure compatibility.
• Report on website performance and user experience.
• Record videos of sessions while browsing websites to help identify problems with navigation or user experience.
• Perform Functional and UAT testing of various web-based components.
• Perform manual scripted and exploratory testing of web software applications.
• Execute tests based on requirements, risk, and defects found.
• Bug investigation, reporting, and verification.
• Coordinate test activities with test engineers & Developers.
• Work in a fast-paced, fun environment with the best minds from a variety of industries and nationalities across global teams.

• Perform manual scripted and exploratory testing of web and mobile software applications.
• Show willingness to learn and test across different platforms (Living room devices, Smart TVs, Smartphones, Tablets, Set-top boxes, Apple TV, etc.).

Requirements:

• Responsible for providing 24x7 support.
• Collaborate to work toward a common goal with different teams.
• Must be proactive, flexible, and able to adapt the QA process to the critical needs of the development team.
• Ability to work independently as part of a distributed team.
• Testing experience with devices (iPhone, iPad, Android, Smart TVs, etc.) preferred.
• Prior experience in Sports Industry
