 Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design, develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automated scripts to ensure software quality.
• Perform functional, integration, regression testing to identify bugs or defects.
• Perform automated software load testing to identify the performance issues.
• Perform software security testing to identify the security flaws in the system.
• Documenting and tracking the defects and their resolutions.
• Using test automation tools and frameworks to increase the efficiency of the testing process.
• Improve QA processes, explore and utilize best QA tools.
• Participate in the planning and execution of software releases, ensuring all components meet quality standards.
• Report quality metrics and test results to management and stakeholders.
• Engage as a technical expert in an agile team environment
• Provide feedback to the development team on potential improvements in the software design to ensure better testability.
• Collaborate and communicate with the product and development team.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum development environment

 Requirements:

• 1-3 years of proven experience as a quality assurance engineer, software tester, or similar role with expertise in manual and automated testing.
• Ability to test applications in both manual and automated ways.
• Ability to test both API and UI sections of software applications.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Java, JavaScript or any other relevant languages to build and run automated test scripts.
•  Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools like Selenium, Selenium IDE, JUnit, JMeter, Testcafe, Postman, Puppeteer and similar frameworks.
• Experience with bug tracking and project management tools
• Understanding of continuous integration/continuous deployment
• Experience with mobile app testing will be a plus point
• Experience with cross platform automated integration testing would be a plus point.
• Experience with RDBMS Scripting will be a plus point.
