First Advantage is hiring for the role of Associate Software Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and front-end teams to deliver high-quality software.
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues.
- Assist in database design and optimization (MySQL/DynamoDB).
- Follow Agile development practices and participate in daily stand-up
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of Java (11+)
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate (academic or internship projects acceptable)
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON
- Basic understanding of relational databases (MySQL, Dynamo)
- Knowledge of Git and version control workflows
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of microservices architecture
