Victoria's Secret is hiring for the role of Associate Software Engineer!

Responsibilities of the candidate:

• Under the guidance of more senior developers learn and understand how to use Front-End technologies to build and adjust web application functionality and visual presentation to support business goals
• Assist in developing re-usable, maintainable, accessible cross-platform HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front end web application components while adhering to web and team standards
• Learn how to work in an AT/CI/CD paradigm, develop with testing in mind; author unit tests to provide sufficient testing coverage for each developed component
• Understand how to identify opportunities to optimize and improve front end performance
• Learn and apply practices to ensure accuracy and attention to detail throughout the development process
• Remain curious and current with new developments in front end web development industry

• Highly organized analytical thinker with attention to detail
• Possess effective verbal communication, writing, and presentation skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and deliver projects in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable with new technologies, tools and development processes
• Some exposure to practical front end web development experience in writing and testing valid, web standards-based HTML, CSS, JS is preferred but not mandatory.
• Some exposure to agile methodologies and supporting practices, tools, and technology is preferred.
• Understanding of basics of computer science such as: Object Oriented Programming, Data Structures, Development Patterns
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience
