Red Hat is hiring for the role of Associate Software Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Deliver new Python features for Ansible Collections
- Submit patches for bug fixes and review for peers.
- Write unit tests, and integration tests, and endure the collection is tested in a Production environment.
- Work on the releases
- Publicize the work the team is doing via Team Demo.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, related technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience
- 6 Months+ of experience with software development in Python
- Solid object-oriented software development skills
- Experience with unit tests, integration testing
- Ability to learn container and cloud technologies
- Practical experience using the Linux operating system, including Bash scripting
- Familiarity with various deployment models, including cloud, virtualization, and containers
- Familiarity with GitHub or similar version control system
