Optum is hiring for the role of Associate Software Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Develop new and/or enhance existing application or system code as assigned or provided in technical specifications.
• Perform the day-to-day functions such as running existing programs, applications, and jobs, reviewing logs for errors, writing, or editing software and code, performing testing activities, and updating documentation.
• Coordinate activities with other technical and functional areas as required.
• Design HTML on MVC pattern projects (Candidate must handle min 1 MVC project), CSS/SCSS Animation with JS/JQ integration.
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Requirements:

• Relevant graduation degree
• 2 – 4 years of experience
• Experience in SQL Server – T-SQL
• Web Developer, Wireframing and UI prototyping
• Experience in MVC / C# / ASP.Net / HTML5 / Charting / Razor / Entity Framework
• Working knowledge in Chart Library like High chart, Google etc.
• Proven solid problem-solving skills, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
• Proven solid relationship-building and communication skills with team members and business users
• Willing to learn new technology
