Hitachi Rail STS is hiring for the role of Associate Signalling Functional Design Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Ensure the production of the assigned portion of functional design documentation
• Guarantee adequate reference is made to industry standards in the deliverables (e.g. CENELEC, AREMA, IEEE, IPC, etc.)
• Contribute to the gap analyses between customer requirements and company products
• Contributing to functional design documentation including system
• Requirements and architecture, interface control, scheme plans, control tables, block design, and analyses as appropriate.
• Contribute to management of requirements relative to the functional design
• Contribute to the error’s detection
• Achievement of the delivery of design work packages on time according with schedule and planned budget
• Number of errors raised by Validation and Site tests for system and basic design measured against comparable projects.

Requirements:

• Shall have good exposure to EI functionalities and the various applications in Indian Railways’ environmental conditions.
• Shall have excellent working experience in complete Project life cycle, stating from Design & Development to OS&M activities of handling IXL solutions in Indian Environments.
• Shall have good knowledge to compare the merits and demerits of various IXL and associated applications in India.
• 0-3 years of experience in Signalling design and delivery
• Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering or Information Technology Qualifications/ University Degree or Equivalent Technical Background
