Associate Scientist, Toxicology Job in Mumbai at Colgate-Palmolive (India) Limited

Colgate-Palmolive (India) Limited is hiring for the role of Associate Scientist, Toxicology!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Provide safety clearance reviews for new product recipes (formulas), experimental formulas, and formulas being tested in Clinical, Consumer, or Panel studies (Human Use Protocols).
• Prepare Product Safety Reports and assist more senior toxicologists by performing formula reviews and comparisons necessary for product registration safety letters and regulatory requests.
• Evaluate toxicological and other scientific databases to conduct literature searches that support new raw material safety assessments.
• Maintain Compliance Check values within Colgate’s Product Data Management (PDM) system.
• Work a shift position to accommodate necessary working-hour overlap with the Global Product Safety team based in Piscataway.

Requirements:

• Education: A Master's degree in Toxicology, Pharmacology, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of Toxicology Experience in Industry/consumer products.
• Experience in Product Safety/Toxicology with a consumer products, medical device, food, or pharmaceutical company. .
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Demonstrated ability in Relationship Building and Effective Execution.
• Experience in performing literature searches and evaluating toxicological and scientific databases.
