Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Accurately prepare, review, and file tax returns for globally mobile employees within designated deadlines.
• Provide specialized advice on tax planning, withholding responsibilities, and social security contributions to internal teams.
• Collaborate with finance and HR departments for precise payroll tax and social security calculations and reporting.
• Offer specialized tax advice on assignment structures and tax-efficient benefits, leveraging tax treaties.
• Educate and guide employees on their tax responsibilities and implications of international assignments.
• Advise employees on tax equalization and protection policies, ensuring compliance and understanding.
• Analyze employee compensation and payroll data to calculate tax liabilities and identify potential benefits.
• Prepare supporting applications and documentation to optimize tax positions, including communication with assignees.
• Maintain accurate and audit-ready tax records and documentation.
• Stay updated on the latest international tax laws and regulations.
• Compile and present tax reports to management, auditors, and tax authorities, highlighting key findings.
• Collaborate with other service lines within the business to identify cross-functional issues and provide integrated solutions.
• Conduct research on country-specific tax issues relevant to the organization's operations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients with employees on business trips, providing exceptional service and support.
• Regularly communicate with clients to update them on trip assessments and address concerns.
• Manage the financial aspects of the engagement, including billings, collections, and KPIs tracking.
• Work with clients to implement Global Mobility Tax strategies to minimize liabilities for both the company and employees.
• Identify and seek out fresh business prospects from the existing client base based on understanding their changing needs.
• Expand the client portfolio and nurture relationships to drive revenue growth.
• Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify growth areas and opportunities.

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree Required: Chartered Accountant degree/MBA.
• Required Fields of Study: Accounting, Taxation & Related field
• Minimum Years of Experience: 1-3 years of experience in Direct Tax
