Morgan Stanley is hiring for the role of Associate - Refresh (Operations)!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Escalate identified risks appropriately during the documentation review process.
• Collaborate with client-facing teams to gather required documents and associated information, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
• Act as a subject matter expert on necessary AML/KYC documents and processes.
• Manage and facilitate client due diligence, coordinating with MS stakeholders responsible for KYC.
• Serve as the point of contact for KYC and reporting issues related to designated clients.
• Discuss and escalate complex issues with Compliance, involving client types, structures, financial products, services, and other AML risk-related matters.
• Act as an escalation point for client issues, troubleshoot cases and collaborate on solutions.
• Review cases before handover to Non-Market Risk for assessment.
• Represent the team at Working Groups and Steering Committee meetings, providing progress updates.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in an AML/KYC role, required
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders, and attention to detail
• Strong analytical, prioritization, and organizational skills
• Robust awareness of risk and controls
• Capacity to think laterally and convey an understanding of the big picture
• Maintains a sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Strong client focus and ability to partner with various internal groups and client coverage
• Ability to navigate successfully through a complex infrastructure involving numerous groups and individuals
• Consultative approach, understanding and anticipating business partner needs, and proactively delivering solutions
• Ability to work under pressure and adhere to fixed deadlines
