S&P Global is hiring for the role of Associate - Quantitative Analysis!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Delivers high quality data collation/analysis, modeling work that meets the needs and expectations of project owner.
- Understand the definition of alternative data and the related insights it leads to the business opportunities.
- Quality check data using internal tools and resolve data defects.
- Assist in ad-hoc research activities.
Requirements:
- B.Tech CSE/IT or master's in data science/economics/computing or relevant disciplines
1-2 years of programming experience in R/Python - Preferably some previous relevant background/experience in financial time series data
- Quantitative skills in data engineering, data science, machine learning, statistics, optimization and/or econometrics are highly desirable
- The ability to analyze original, non-routine analytical/business problems in a timely and insightful manner.
- Proficient in MS Excel. Familiarity with SQL/Tableau is a plus.
- Ability to take initiative and self-manage time
- Strong communications skills
