Truecaller is hiring for the role of Associate QA Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans
• Build and maintain automated test suites
• Analyze test results and identify areas for improvement
• Work with cutting-edge technologies like Golang, Scala, Kafka, Aerospike, Maestro, gRPC, Protobuff, and more
• Own an end-to-end quality set of features and ensure that all code that gets shipped to prod is tested for quality.
• Create test plans and execute those with test results/matrix. 
• Automate manual test cases and integrate with build pipelines to ensure sanity of each build.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and log bugs in the applications under test and do exploratory testing of the entire product.
• Develop test strategies test cases and automations for ads features.
• Participate and contribute to High-Level Design discussions and ensure that testability is considered.
• Create and document test cases and product flow
• Identify test activities and test dependencies that span across the backend and frontend domain to ensure the end-to-end quality
• Coordinate/coach the developer’s participation in the team's test activities
• Be the gatekeeper for all team deliverables agreed quality levels to ensure that acceptance criteria and definition of done are met before a task is closed

Requirements:

• Experience of 1-3 years as a Software Dev/Test Engineer preferably from Product based or startup organizations.
• Be someone who has basic knowledge of coding and understanding of elementary Data Structures.
• Able to come up with a variety of Test Cases for any given scenario.
• An elementary understanding of the design of Distributed systems.
