Associate Project Engineer (Mechanical) Job in Bangalore at ABB Group

ABB Group is hiring for the role of Associate Project Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidates:

• Performing survey work, standard computations, analysis, and basic design tasks.
• Exercising judgment on limited details of work and on the application of standard methods and preparing project documentation within your scope of deliverables.
• Assisting customers on technical issues and interacting with official contacts, contractors, and other staff within your scope of deliverables.
• Supporting in communication about specific assignments or meetings.
• Participating in workshops related to engineering design, tools, and processes.

Requirements:

• You are immersed in design function in the switchgear industry
• You have 3 to 5 years of experience in preparing 3D drawings in SolidWorks (Preparing Busbar Layout, Busduct, Internal Layout of Module section, etc.) and preparing BOM
• You have hands-on experience in designing Low Voltage Switchgear products (MCC, PCC, PDP)
• Possess an enhanced knowledge of SolidWorks or Creo (3D)
• Degree in Mechanical engineering
• You are at ease communicating in English
