Aereo is hiring for the role of Associate Product Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Defining the strategy, roadmap, workflows and tools that are used to ingest, maintain and deliver geospatial data at scale for our users 
• Establishing the vision for next-generation geospatial data management dashboards. Translate long-term vision into clear actionable next steps for engineering teams 
• Efficiently execute to ship products and deliver impact for our users, solving technical and operational problems as they relate to product development 
• Building alignment across product teams, cross-functional partners (Data Processing, GIS Analysts, Subject Matter Experts etc.), and internal stakeholders 
• Communicating concisely with engineering and product leadership and influencing our tech strategy 
• Developing the product roadmap and building consensus on prioritization which drives product execution 
• Creating processes for collecting feedback from users and prioritizing requests across an expanding number of internal stakeholders 
• Delivering high-quality new products and features while improving the reliability of what already exists 

Requirements:

• Demonstrating empathy for key user pain points 
• Having strong written and verbal communication ability 
• Enthusiastic, energetic and eager to learn 
• Having done at least 1 internship previously in software engineering, marketing or product management 
• Extremely organized and able to quickly digest and organize complex information 
• Having an awareness of good software UI/UX practices 
• Having a basic understanding of sales and marketing 
• Have a background in software engineering with hands-on coding experience 
• Are involved in extracurricular activities and college-level festival/event management activities 
• Have dabbled in your own startup ideas with your friends
