Synaptic is hiring for the role of Associate: Portfolio Operations!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Ingest, analyze, and structure tens of thousands of unstructured data points spanning financials and key metrics.
• Review company updates to interpret the significance of each metric and understand interconnections and nuances in their calculations.
• Generate innovative new ideas, benchmarks, and analyses that help VCs get more out of data.
• Refine processes for analysis, security, and compliance in conjunction with Synaptic’s engineers and product managers.

Requirements:

• Experience working with large financial data analysis teams and investors.
• Familiarity with accounting principles, financial modeling, reporting, and analysis.
• Deep understanding of key metrics used to measure startup performance based on industry, their definitions, calculations, and when to use them.
• MBA in finance and/or CFA L1 and above is a plus.
• Candidates with over 2 years of professional experience dealing with financial data, especially of institutional investors, are preferred.
