Associate Microbiologist Job in Ahmedabad at Baxter

Baxter is hiring for the role of Associate Microbiologist!

Responsibilities of the Candidates:

• Implement GMP norms rigorously to maintain a clean environment for sterile preparation according to international standards and guidelines.
• Conduct sampling and testing for Water for Injection (WFI), double Reverse Osmosis (DRO), Single Reverse Osmosis (SRO), raw water, and pure steam.
• Collect validation samples as per validation protocols to ensure quality and compliance.
• Prepare and analyze trends of the test results to determine overall process efficiency.
• Qualify personnel for entry into clean rooms, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Perform periodic HEPA filter qualification to ensure efficient functionality.
• Operate laboratory instruments and equipment as required for efficient lab operations.
• Initiate non-conformity or Out-of-specification (OOS) procedures for any observed abnormalities.
• Perform data entry for trend analysis to monitor and improve performance.
• Communicate any issues or failures to supervisors to ensure timely resolutions.
• Identify and suggest preventive and corrective measures for abnormalities in clean rooms or manufacturing areas.

Requirements:

• Degree in Microbiology or related field with proven expertise in microbiological testing.
• Experience in environmental monitoring, media preparation, and growth promotion testing is highly desirable.
• Proficient in operating laboratory instruments and equipment, with a strong understanding of GMP norms.
• Meticulous in achieving excellent outcomes and continually working to improve processes and work efficiency.
• Strong ability to analyze trends and assess the efficiency of various processes.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective reporting of issues and collaboration with team members.
• Ability to strictly adhere to guidelines and suggest preventive and corrective measures for identified issues.
