OTIS is hiring for the role of Associate - Mechanical Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Responsible for deliverables planned in testing and qualification with process deployment as per engineering standards.
• Develop new standards and ensure process deployment on testing activities and work for product process deployment from engineering for requirements.
• Field tools development, Test plan execution on components and mechanical door systems
• Ensuring completion of programs on track Carrying out the testing activities on time bound basis based on program requirements
• Rapid resolution to turnbacks received from the field and act as mechanical expert support from factory to field
• Following engineering standard practices and should ensure zero escapes to the field
• Prepare timely and accurate technical reports for mechanical system and components qualification from LDC for the relevant topics
• Deployment of standard tools with process-on-field methods from LDC
• Ensuring product safety and EH&S for engineering in Testing
• Responsible for ensuring all processes & subsystems are based on EH&S requirements and demonstrating to the field the safe practice to install/service.
• Maintaining the EH&S with zero lost time at the test tower and ensuring On-time safety process on tools, gauges & methods.

Requirements:                        

• Should have good knowledge & understanding of processes to ensure critical hazards in tool designing, testing, installation, and safety standards for working at heights and define processes for field methods.
• Should have fair knowledge and hands-on experience in identifying hazards and improving processes for construction industries.
