Associate Mechanical Engineer Job in Pune at Eaton

Eaton is hiring for the role of Associate Mechanical Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Provide plant support to resolve plant issues including quality, manufacturing, and tooling issues
• Resolve technical queries from plant, sales, and supply chain
• Execute Engineering Change Requests 
• Support product development / VAVE by developing mechanical CAD drawings + 3D models of electrical and mechanical components & capturing cost-saving opportunities through sustaining projects

Requirements:

• Communication skills, Multitasking, Drive for results, Accountability, Innovation, Leadership Attributes, Efficient
• Min 0-1 years experience in Sustaining- mechanical product 
• Experience in sheet metal part design. Awareness of plastic parts, and sheet metal manufacturing processes
• Experience in working with manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to resolve their issues is an added advantage
• Hands-on experience with any CAD software, should have worked on parametric modeling, drawing detailing & Assembly build (Solidworks & AutoCAD software experience will be an advantage)
• Understanding of any Product lifecycle management tool like Enovia, SAP, etc. ( Enovia exp. is desirable)
• Understanding of GD&T principles & its application
• Familiar with Tolerance stack-up analysis
• Experience in Sustaining engineering is desirable (i.e. execution of ECN/ECR) and one should have an understanding of the PLM lifecycle
• Concept building & Design thinking(Understanding of Six Sigma methodologies and Continuous improvement tools is a plus)
• Understanding of the Strength of Materials and strong mechanical basics
