About this Job
Emerson is hiring for the role of Associate Mechanical Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Create 2D and 3D CAD models and assemblies for the products using SolidWorks.
- Modify existing models as per engineering revisions.
- Understand/prepare the product documentation.
- Develop Macros using SolidWorks and vb.net.
- Provide technical support for drawings to other functional teams.
- Provide necessary documentation and drawings/3D models required for production/manufacturing.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the field of Piping, Oil & Gas, Process Industry
- Sound knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry Equipment, Instruments, ASME Standards
- Sound knowledge of CAD and PDM software (SolidWorks preferred)
- Good awareness of Sheetmetal, Casting, & Product Design
- GD&T, international standards like ASME, and PED would be added advantage.
- MS Office, Outlook
- Preferred:
- Knowledge of SolidWorks, GD&T, Sheet metal
- Experienced in the oil and gas industry
- Problem-solving and result-oriented skills
