Mastercard is hiring for the role of Associate Managing Consultant!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Manage deliverable development and workstreams on projects across various industries and problem statements.
• Contribute to and/or develop strategies and programs for regional and global clients using data science tools, including Test & Learn®.
• Manage relationships with client managers, acting as a trusted and reliable partner.
• Provide analytical and technical subject matter expertise, driving client success through Test & Learn® adoption and competency.
• Develop sound business recommendations and deliver effective client presentations.
• Plan, organize, and structure work for yourself and junior consultants to identify strong analytical approaches using Test & Learn®, synthesize findings, and create impactful storylines.
• Lead team and external meetings, and lead or co-lead project management activities.
• Contribute to the firm’s intellectual capital and solution development initiatives.
• Progress toward coaching responsibilities to support day-to-day project management and mentor junior consultants.

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree with analytical experience in consulting, analytics, or data science.
• Experience managing clients or internal stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze large datasets and synthesize insights.
• Logical, structured thinking and comfort with statistical and numerical analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with multiple clients in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Effective communication skills in English and the local office language (if applicable).
• Eligibility to work in the country of application and ability to obtain travel visas as needed.
• Additional relevant experience in data modeling, database management (e.g., SQL), data visualization (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), time series analysis, or segmentation.
• Experience managing tasks or workstreams collaboratively with internal teams or third parties.
• Experience coaching junior consultants.
• Relevant industry expertise.
• MBA or master’s degree with relevant specialization (preferred but not required).
