Associate Level 1 - Mo-Trade Processing Job in Chennai at BNP Paribas

BNP Paribas is hiring for the role of Associate!

Responsibilities of the Candidates:

• Work as a member of the Trade Processing team, handling trade capture, matching, and settlement of securities, FX, and money market instruments.
• Process global security transactions on the global trade processing platforms within given deadlines.
• Interact with both internal and external stakeholders to resolve trade confirmation and settlement queries.
• Monitor transactions to confirm that client instructions are processed in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring timely settlement and accounting.
• Ensure that all trades are matched within market/client deadlines.
• Verify client positions and ensure all transactions are processed correctly.
• Resolve queries under time frames set out in client SLAs.
• Collaborate with custodians and brokers for timely matching and settlement.
• Report exceptions in line with internal control and external client requirements.
• Proactively resolve failed trade queries.
• Escalate exceptions and failed transactions to appropriate stakeholders for early resolution.
• Ensure all errors/breakdowns of procedures are documented per BNP Paribas policy.
• Maintain extensive communication with internal and external parties.
• Investigate and resolve custodian exceptions for all three product classes.

Requirements:

• Graduates / Post Graduates (B.Com/MBA)
• Candidates should be willing and flexible to work in any shifts
• Associate Level 1: 1 - 4 years of experience with an investment banking background
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team
• Attention to detail and rigor
• Strong communication skills (oral & written)
