BNP Paribas is hiring for the role of Associate!

Responsibilities of the Candidates:

• Directly interact with the listed derivative global client base to manage margin, cash, and collateral settlements and inquiries.
• Communicate with CTFC regulators, compliance teams, auditors, the FCM community, and global business partners.
• Ensure compliance with CFTC regulations, NFA, and CCP rulebooks regarding margin, collateral, and customer protection regulations for FCM clearing operations.
• Manage cash wire, securities movements, and related control processes for settling client and CCP-facing margins.
• Perform account balancing across various depositories, investigating and resolving related breaks and inquiries.
• Capture and analyze key risk indicators and operational performance trends for process improvement.
• Lead and assist in large-scale projects to implement necessary regulatory or process changes.
• Provide training on margin settlement frameworks, regulatory requirements, and operational processes to staff, partners, and clients.
• Maintain working knowledge of FCM operations, focusing on margin requirements through the execution and clearing lifecycle.
• Follow escalation procedures to address potential risks and see issues through to resolution.
• Review and enhance operational processes, collaborating with Product teams to improve client offerings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree  
• Staff – experience with Reconciliation experience & ETD background
• Experience managing and operational processes 
• Knowledge of FCM operations responsibilities to CCPs and clients 
• Extensive knowledge of CFTC regulations with the ability to demonstrate controls adhering to compliance in a daily production environment 
• Understanding of exchange-listed derivatives trading and clearing workflows and related controls to alleviate regulatory risk 
• Microsoft Excel (Vlookup, Pivot tables, formals, etc.), Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Experience in client and CCP margin settlement calculation and process for listed derivatives markets    
• 1-3 years of experience assisting or leading projects requiring regular status reporting and meeting strict deadlines
• 1-3 years of experience in client services, solutions, or relationship-building and management  
• Experience giving live demonstrations    
• Project management experience specific to establishing best practices, process improvements, and implementation of operational controls
• Experience interacting with outside parties, clients, and various lines of business seeking solutions for enhancing control environments 
• Experience in global markets trade execution and operational systems
• Microsoft suite knowledge
