Asteria is hiring for the role of Associate Junior Engineer - Quality Control!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Carry out inward goods inspection of parts as per requirements. 
• Be responsible for updating the QC incoming log and non-conformance log. 
• Perform inspections using precision instruments to ensure the product meets specifications. 
• Conduct stage inspections from component to assembly and system-level builds during product development and production activities. 
• Be responsible and in charge of labelling or tagging all components with a component Identification tag if components pass inspections. 
• Identify and document issues and assist with troubleshooting and implementing corrective actions to resolve identified defects. 
• Assist in the preparation of test cases, test procedures and test reports. 
• Prepare, process, and close out production documentation and maintain records. 
• Monitor and maintain the calibration of measuring instruments. 
• Other duties as assigned or required to improve and maintain the Quality Management System. 

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electronics & Communication, Mechanical or related field
•  Relevant Experience: 2+ years of experience
• Practiced in reading and understanding assembly drawings with due regard to dimensional tolerances 
• To possess knowledge of mechanical systems and, an understanding of mechanical drawings and GD&T Symbols
• Proficiency with standard testing tools, callipers, micrometres, depth gauges and mechanical parts inspection methodologies
• Problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, attention to detail
