Associate Instrumentation and Controls Engineer Job in Gurgaon at McDermott

McDermott is hiring for the role of Associate Instrumentation & Controls Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Produce instrument database from P&I diagrams.
• Perform calculations for control valves, safety relief valves and orifices.
• Prepare instrument specifications/datasheets, especially for field instruments and do the related technical bid evaluations.
• Check supplier drawings.
• Make Wiring & Loop Drawings.
• Draw Cable schedules & block diagrams.
• Supervise vendor packages.
• Ensure Effective management of change.
• Work according to company/project standards, procedures and specifications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Technology / BE degree – Instrumentation or equivalent
• Good command of English (both verbal and in writing)
• Hands-on experience in EPC project execution in the Oil & Gas contracting industry
• Experience: 1-5 years
• Good Communication skills, team player
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint & Word
• Able to deal with resistance, Meet deadlines and is able to handle changing needs and requirements
• Demonstrate understanding of procedures
• Actively develop more FEED and EPC knowledge
• Is familiar with codes and standards for domestic and/or international use and is generally current on the latest scientific and engineering methods
• Possesses technical knowledge of the detailed design engineering process
• Experience with the use of general application software
• Experience with the use of Instrument Database applications (SPI / Aveva)
• Commercial awareness
• Communication and interface with other engineering disciplines
