Associate II - Engineering Design Job in Thiruvananthapuram at UST

UST is hiring for the role of Associate II - Engineering Design!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Electrical:
  • Develop 2D wire harness drawings conforming to customer requirements and industrial drafting standards.
  • Use the design of hardware fixation components such as bracket clips and mounting points using 3D modeling modules.
  • Develop wire harness routing designs in 3D which includes ensuring secure routing of harness to corresponding connectors.
  • Create and understand schematic drawings.
• Mechanical:
  • Design hydraulic systems; selection of hydraulic components and fittings and hydraulic routings using Pro-E Wildfire. 
  • Design structural members' castings and weld fabrications.
  • Design welding structural components.
  • Contribute Mechanical or Electrical integration as a part of Vehicle integration and assembly.
  • Understand and apply Finite Element Analysis in Mechanical design.
