Acuity Knowledge Partners is hiring for the role of Associate - Excel / VBA!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Participates in gathering all necessary automation requirements and works with team members to identify such requirements and automation opportunities.
• High concentration of testing robotic processes to verify steps are completed accurately in a technical manner following the teams operating model for delivery and governance. 
• Utilize VBA in new and existing Excel-based tools to automate recurring work processes.
• Integrate capability in Excel-based tools to both pull and push data from/to SQL Server or any other databases. 
• Leads integration and UAT tests to identify and correct any issues with the technical setup of the process. 
• Trains associates (users) on how to use and maintain the automation, including automations and escalating any automation related issues to the manager and appropriate stakeholders.
• Works and thrives in an innovative, fast-paced environment. Designs and develops all MS Office automation related work with the value of the business users in mind and utilizes technology to its most efficient ability.
• Support deployments and/or troubleshoot production issues outside of work hours and as needed.
• Responsible for troubleshooting and implement any bug-fix as directed by Tech Lead for any RPA process while supporting, analyzing, and implementing enhancements. Effective and timely communication to RPA manager and appropriate stakeholders is expected.
• Work collaboratively in a global setting, should be eager to learn new technologies

Requirements:

• Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in computer science/IT
• This position required hands-on experience in Excel VBA Programming and not just Reporting and/or experience with recording and maintaining macros 
• Microsoft Excel – Expert Level
• Strong expertise in Complex formula authoring, array functions, dynamic named ranges, pivot tables, data validation, conditional formatting
• Strong in PowerQuery
• familiar with Excel object model, authoring of procedures, user defined functions, code refactoring, and performance optimization
• Dynamic dashboard design, leverage Excel charting capabilities
• Knowledgeable in best practices of spreadsheet design SQL Server
• Familiar with relational databases.
• Comfortable writing SQL queries utilizing aggregation functions and GROUP BY
• Understand the different JOIN types and stored procedure.
