Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design and develop software for Qualcomm’s mobile chipsets based on cutting-edge technologies.
• Contribute to development in the following domains:
• Multimedia Technologies: Audio/video codecs, image processing.
• Wireless Modem Technologies: 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Self-Organizing Networks.
• Platform-Level Software: Linux, Android, Windows, Board Support Packages (BSP).
• IoT Technologies: Connected cameras, smart assistants, drones, AR/VR.
• Develop real-time embedded software and device drivers.
• Work on mobile software development for platforms such as Android, Linux, and Windows Mobile.
• Participate in development of multimedia software stacks, firmware, and drivers.
• Support wireless modem and connectivity software and firmware development.
• Contribute to communication protocol stack software development.
• Involve in kernel, BSP, and device driver development.
• Design and develop application software and UI components.
• Participate in designing software architecture for embedded devices on Android and Windows.
• Collaborate effectively in team settings and contribute to a multidisciplinary engineering environment

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and object-oriented design.
• Good understanding of operating system concepts and data structures.
• Knowledge of wireless network standards such as CDMA, GSM, UMTS, LTE.
• Experience with Linux/UNIX, including Linux driver and Linux kernel development.
• Familiarity with communication protocols like TCP, UDP, IP, SIP, RTP.
• Exposure to multimedia technologies: Audio, video, and imaging systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in teams.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
