Pentair is hiring for the role of Associate Engineer, Trainee!

Responsibilities of the Candidates:

• Hand calculations, detail design activities, DFMEA, and technical documentation.
• Evaluate product designs, and create, and revise drawings for compliance with engineering principles, Pentair
  standards, customer requirements, existing manufacturing capabilities, and related specifications.
• Execute complex projects with 2Ddrawings, 3D modelling, tolerance stacks, GD&T, database environment /
  PLM, design for manufacturability and design for assembly.
• Work in synergy with global engineers, quality teams, manufacturing engineers, sourcing, suppliers, field support, and others to improve product quality and customer experience.
• Drive technical root cause analysis of field failures and identify corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Requirements:

• Full-time B.Tech/M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, from a premier (tier-1 or tier-2) engineering institute with min 7.0 CGPA or 70% marks throughout education. 
• A strong commitment to a career in engineering with an analytical approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, willingness and ability to learn from others, and collaborate with global teams.
• Quick learner, dynamic approach, desire to work in a fast-paced ever-changing environment.
• Strong fundamentals of mechanical engineering, solid mechanics, hydraulics, and design principles.
• Good knowledge of design calculations, drawing, and understanding of material selection and manufacturing.
• Hands-on knowledge of Solidworks 2D drawing/3D modeling will be an added advantage.
