Associate Engineer - Technical Support Job in Pune at Eaton

Eaton is hiring for the role of Associate Engineer - Technical Support!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Responsible for answering customer emails within TAT.
• Responsible for Handling Cross-reference requests from customers.
• Develop competitor cross-references for Eaton's New Product Releases.
• Provide Pre-sale support like product selection, product configuration, and budgetary quotes.
• Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.
• Maintain and expand the product knowledge base available to all internal and external teams.
• Use Enterprise-wide tools, SharePoint, Share drive, etc. to address customer concerns.
• Maintain high level of customer satisfaction by his own work by keeping NPS/CES up to the mark.

Requirements:

• Graduate in Engineering (Electrical/ Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunication)
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Electronics Industry
• Good understanding of technical aspects of Electronics Components, Assemblies, and their related applications
• Problem-solving, and product troubleshooting skills 
• Ability to understand and resolve Tier-1 customer issues independently
• Should be able to interpret customer specifications, drawings, and schematics
• Excel spreadsheet knowledge would be added advantage
• Basic understanding of ERP, PLM, CRM, and other enterprise-wide tools would be added advantage"
• Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills
• Self-Motivated to identify and prioritize assigned work 
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Abilities within Adobe and Microsoft Outlook
• Good written communication and verbal communication
