AstraZeneca is hiring for the role of Associate Engineer! 

Responsibilities of the employee:

• As an Associate Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability and performance of the supported technology/platform services. Your duties will include initial triaging and remediation of all P1, P2, P3, and P4 incidents, escalating incidents from events to CC/SD on outage incidents, updating Knowledgebase articles, managing the incident queue, and working on Incidents, Changes, Service & Problem Requests. You will also be involved in ITIL Process and provide 24/7 support.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with up to 1 year of operational experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts, covering regions such as the Americas, EMEA, and ASIAPAC 24/7.
• Highly motivated and proactive, with a strong drive for professional growth and excellence.
• Ability to quickly adapt and learn.
• Foundational knowledge of infrastructure.
• Willingness to learn Identity and Access Management (IAM) technologies.
• Familiarity with Active Directory (AD).
• Competence in drafting professional emails.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with vendors, application users, and third-party service providers.
• Experience or familiarity with scripting languages like PowerShell, VBScript, BASH, Python, or Linux scripting.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree.
• Knowledge of Active Directory.
• Basic understanding of web development using HTML.
• Experience with Java and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in PowerShell.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow (SNOW) APIs.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a matrixed organization.
