Associate Engineer (CAD) Job in Pune at Emerson

Emerson is hiring for the role of Associate Engineer (CAD)!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Work on Flow Controls and instruments Sustaining Engineering efforts as a member. Provide additional support as needed for other E&D projects
• Prepare and revisit the Instruments product part and assembly design layouts with complete GD&T, analysis of fits and clearances
• Create 2D and 3D CAD models and assemblies for Production/Manufacturing using SolidWorks.
• Modify existing models as per engineering revisions
• Provide drawing packages including details, assemblies, layouts, and BOM structures
• Adhere to quality process. On-time delivery & Quality of the deliverables
• Communicate and coordinate results with the team members 
• Work with other teams
• Handle all Engineering Change Requests/Notifications Independently

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering, Degree in Mechanical desired with relevant exposure to design/drawing environment from 1 to 2 years
• Software Skills: SolidWorks (Must), ACAD, Awareness of PDM Practices
• Strong Knowledge of modelling and drafting, detailing practices
• Good awareness of sheet metal, Casting, Plastic moulding, or Product Design
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork
• Working knowledge of GD&T and International Standards is preferred
• Good drawing reading and understanding abilities
• Respect the company’s values and ethics
• Good communication skills are desirable
• MS Office, Outlook
• Knowledge of SolidWorks, GD&T, Sheet meta
• Problem-solving and result-oriented skills
• Experienced in the oil and gas industry (Added advantage)
