Associate Engineer ASIC Analog Design Job in Bangalore at Micron

Micron Technology is hiring for the role of Associate Engineer ASIC Analog Design!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Take ownership of analog sub-blocks within the PHY and manage their specification and implementation, including transistor-level and block-level design, simulation, and reliability testing.
• Conduct mixed-mode simulations to ensure robust performance.
• Collaborate with mask designers to drive complex block layouts, ensuring compliance with process rules and DFM guidelines.
• Participate in internal and external design reviews, explaining design decisions and ensuring design robustness.
• Coordinate with global teams and collaborate across multiple sites.
• Assist with IP EDA view creation, including Behavioral/Verilog-A, timing views, and abstracts.
• Participate in silicon bring-up and characterization, performing correlations between models and simulations.
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers.

Requirements:

• Strong circuit design knowledge in analog and mixed-signal CMOS circuits.
• Deep understanding of analog/mixed-signal circuit concepts.
• Experience with lab testing and collaborating with validation teams to analyze data.
• Strong foundation in AMS design, advanced CMOS, and FinFET technologies.
• Knowledge of mismatch analysis, Monte-Carlo simulations, transistor-level noise analysis, and device physics.
• Familiarity with deep-submicron issues.
• Hands-on experience with industry-standard tools, including Cadence ADE, Spectre, AMS verification, EM/IR flows, MATLAB, and Calibre.
